We recently brought Sepe’s niece over from a neighboring island to live with us due to the loss of both her parents. Please pray for our growing family, and our transition to having younger children back in the house with us! Pray for wisdom as we maneuver learning to raise children who have suffered immense loss.

We just finished a year long study in our church entitled “Firm Foundations”. This study had a big emphasis on understanding the beginning chapters of the Bible. The goal is to take the lessons from the past year, turn them into 10-15 minute videos, and upload them to Youtube, Facebook, and other platforms so that Kosraean’s everywhere have access to the studies. Please pray that this will be a fruitful ministry for Kosraean’s all around to the world to have better access to scripture teachings.

Please continue to pray for the renovation of our Women’s Center! We are tirelessly working on get it ready to start teaching the women of Kosrae marketable skills such as sewing, cooking, and economic success. We are focusing on training and economically empower women to help financially assist their families.

Our daughter, her husband, and their one year old son are all moving out to Kosrae at the end of January. Please pray for safe travels, smooth transitions, and good community for their family as they make this huge commitment. We are excited to have another one of out children living near us!

Please pray for the potential plans we are creating to start a health center in Malem Village. Malem, where we currently live, is the only village on island that does not have a health center. We are hoping to help provide preventative services to combat the increasing numbers of diabetes, obesity, and education on how to best care for our elderly population. We are also looking to start a Certified Nursing Assistant Program to train Kosraean’s, working alongside medical partners in the state of Hawaii.
